Sophomore Sarah Simpson (Charlotte, N.C./South Mecklenburg) was named ODAC Swimmer of the Week for the week ending February 10.
Simpson helped the Generals (13-6) finish the regular season with a 7-0 ODAC mark as they picked up wins over Hollins (77-21) and Guilford (68-27) on Saturday. Simpson was a member of the winning 400 medley relay (4:25.89) and had the top finish in the 100 fly (1:05.23).
On the season, Simpson holds the conference's top time in the 100 free (56.36) and the second-best time in the 50 free (25.52).
The Generals look to win their 18th ODAC Championship at the conference meet on Feb. 15-17 in Radford, Va.
