History Department
This world of ours is increasingly interconnected. History examines the past through various lenses -- textual and material; social, political and intellectual -- enriching us as individuals and preparing us to manage the complexities and ambiguities of the contemporary world. Besides offering an enormous range of fascinating topics to pursue, the History Major engages and sharpens your ability to think critically and analytically, and to write and speak clearly and accurately.
