Washington and Lee University garnered the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) weekly honor for women's lacrosse for the week ending February 24.
Junior midfielder Colleen Evans (Lexington, Va./Rockbridge County) earned the award after notching five goals and one assist in a 2-0 week. Evans registered a hat trick and one assist in a season-opening 18-3 win over Sewanee and totaled two goals in an 8-7 victory over St. Mary's of Maryland.
Washington and Lee, ranked 12th in Division III, hosts Christopher Newport on Sunday in its home-opener at 1:00 pm.
