Washington and Lee senior Nathaniel James (Keller, Texas/Keller) has been named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Golfer of the Week for the week ending Mar. 9.
James garnered the award after helping the Generals to a seventh-place tie out of 16 teams at the Callaway Collegiate Invitational in their spring debut on Mar. 3-4 in Pine Mountain, Ga.
Individually, James finished in a tie for 11th place out of 83 golfers with an eight-over-par score of 76-76--152. A two-time All-American, James is averaging 72.4 strokes over 10 rounds played this year.
Washington and Lee returns to action on Mar. 21-23 at the Jekyll Island Collegiate held in Jekyll Island, Ga.
