Anna Pendley ('09) Wins Fellowship for Geoarchaeology in Italy, Summer 2008
Anna Pendley ('09), a double major in Anthropology/Archaeology and Geology, will be researching the geoarchaeology of the Poggio Colla in Italy as a Keck geology project fellow. She will be in Italy from late June to late July, and the data she collects will be the basis for her Geology thesis next year. The Keck website is
keckgeology.org, and the project heads are Dr. Rob Sternberg from Franklin and Marshall College and Dr. Sara Bon-Harper, director of archaeology at Monticello.
