The John W. Elrod University Commons

It is the central location for all constituencies of the university to gather and feel at home. The Elrod Commons serves as a place to enhance the learning experience of the University, promote social development, and foster collaboration and communication among all.

Student Activities
The Office of Student Activities provides students with a variety of options which integrate life within and outside the classroom. Participation in co-curricular activities is a vital piece of the educational environment on campus and is considered an integral part of a student's personal growth and development. From student organizations to campus events, opportunities for involvement and enrichment are plentiful for Washington and Lee University students.
