Driving Directions to the Lenfest Center

Traveling North or South on Interstate 81

• Follow I-81 to exit 191, which puts you onto I-64 West.
• After getting onto I-64 West, you will immediately take the next exit, Exit 55.
• Turn left at the stop sign at the end of the exit ramp. This puts you on Route 11 South.
• Follow Route 11 South through three stoplights. After the third stoplight, you will cross the Maury River. Bear right onto Business Route 11.
• Follow Business Route 11 to the second downtown stoplight. Turn right at the light onto Nelson Street.
• Proceed three blocks on Nelson Street. The Lenfest Center will be on your left at the bottom of the hill.
• Limited parking is available in front of the Lenfest Center. More parking is available in the parking garage across Nelson Street. If you park in the garage, follow the pedestrian bridge over Nelson Street to the Lenfest Center.

Traveling East on Interstate 64

• Follow I-64 to the second Lexington exit, Exit 55.
• Turn right at the stop sign at the end of the exit ramp. This puts you on Route 11 South.
• Follow Route 11 South through three stoplights. After the third stoplight, you will cross the Maury River. Bear right onto Business Route 11.
• Follow Business Route 11 to the second downtown stoplight. Turn right at the light onto Nelson Street.
• Proceed three blocks on Nelson Street. The Lenfest Center will be on your left at the bottom of the hill.
• Limited parking is available in front of the Lenfest Center. More parking is available in the parking garage across Nelson Street. If you park in the garage, follow the pedestrian bridge over Nelson Street to the Lenfest Center.

The Office of Admissions is located across campus in the Gilliam House. Directions: From Jefferson Street, after passing the VMI stadium, take a sharp right on Letcher Avenue. Proceed to the first driveway on the left to reach the Admissions Office. Limited parking is available behind Gilliam House. Additional parking is available in the Lee Chapel visitors' lot (return to Jefferson Street--the lot is located on the next right after Letcher Avenue).
