
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va.-- The Washington and Lee outdoor track and field teams had athletes compete against Division I, II and III competitors in the 1500 meters on Saturday at the UVA Invite.
The women were led by junior Elizabeth Webb (Middleburg, Va./Wakefield), who set a school record when she crossed the tape in 4:40.37, while junior Becca Taylor (Hamilton, Ohio/Edgewood) ran 4:46.59.
For the men, junior Vance Berry (Porte Vedra, Fla./Episcopal) finished in 4:08.81.
Washington and Lee returns to action on Friday and Saturday for the ODAC Outdoor Championship hosted by Roanoke College in Salem, Va.
