Each year, the Annual Fund awards  three trophies during Alumni Weekend to recognize collective class giving. The trophies are displayed in the Alumni House.

The Trident Trophy

Exceptional Class Participation
This trophy is awarded to the reunion class with the highest percentage of members participating in the Annual Fund. The 2006-07 winner, announced during reunion weekend in May, is the class of 1967, led by reunion co-chairs Bob Priddy and Mac Holladay. Their class participation rate is 59.28%.

The John Newton Thomas Trophy

Outstanding Increase in Support
Awarded to the reunion class with the largest percent increase in Annual Fund commitments over last year. This year's winner, announced during reunion weekend in May, is the Class of 1977, led by Reunion Chair Jimmy Brooks. Their percentage increase is an amazing 223%!

The Colonnade Cup

Outstanding Class Gift
Awarded to the reunion class with the largest class gift (including Annual Fund commitments and future pledges (five years) to the Annual Fund.) The 2006-07 winner, announced during reunion weekend, is the Class of 1977, led by reunion chair Jimmy Brooks. Their class gift was $464,423.
