

LEXINGTON, Va. -- The Washington and Lee men’s soccer team battled ODAC-foe Bridgewater to a 0-0 double-overtime tie on Tuesday afternoon at Watt Field.
Despite hard efforts by both teams, neither squad could find the back of the net in 110 minutes of play. The Eagles (3-3-1, 0-0-1) held a slight edge in shots, (17-15), and corner kicks, (9-8).
W&L sophomore netminder Ben Barlett (Towson, Md./McDonogh) played the full 110:00 and registered eight saves, while BC junior Zane Lineberry (Pulaski, Va./Pulaski County) also played the entire duration between the pipes and stopped seven shots.
The Generals (3-0-1, 0-0-1) return to action on Saturday when they travel to Eastern Mennonite for a 7:00 pm game.
