MOBILE, Ala. -- Washington and Lee junior Katie Tabb (Minneapolis, Minn./Edina) advanced to the fifth-place match of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) National Singles Tournament held at the Copeland - Cox Tennis Center in Mobile, Ala.
Tabb defeated Sierra Krebsbach of Gustavus Adolphus in the first round of the consolation bracket, 6-0, 6-7 (3), 6-2 on Friday morning. She will play Jenni White, also of Gustavus Adolphus, in the match to determine fifth place on Saturday morning at 10:30 am. White advanced to the fifth-place match with a win over Sabra Rogers of Emory (Ga.).
