 SAINT PETER, Minn. -- W&L sophomore Lauren Caire (Nashville, Tenn./Harpeth Hall) competed in the quarterfinals of the doubles and singles NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Championships on Saturday in Saint Peter, Minn.

Caire lost Grace Baljon of Williams, 6-7, 4-6, in singles, and then paired with junior Katie Tabb (Minneapolis, Minn./Edina) in doubles, falling to Amy Staloch and Jennifer Chui of Carnegie Mellon, 5-7, 6-3, 4-6.

Caire and Tabb conclude the season with a 25-3 record as a tandem, while Caire completed the season with a 27-4 singles mark.

This year's national runner-up, W&L finished the 2008 campaign with a 28-1 record.
