W&L Riding Records an Eighth Place Finish at the IHSA Regionals
Allison Lemon The Washington and Lee riding team was in action at the IHSA Region IV Zone 2 Regional hosted by the University of Virginia on Sunday afternoon. The Generals recorded an eighth place overall mark and had two riders notch fifth-place finishes. W&L was led by sophomores
Caitlin McCurdy (Walkersville, Md./Walkersville) and
Allison Lemon (Roanoke, Va./North Cross School). McCurdy placed fifth in the walk-trot-canter, while Lemon finished fifth in the intermediate flat. The Blue and White return to action on Sat., Feb. 28 at the Virginia Intermont Collegiate Cup at 7:00 pm.
