Athletics Facilities

Washington and Lee boasts some of the finest athletic facilities for any NCAA Division III school, highlighted by several construction projects completed within the last 10 years. In the midst of a Strategic Initiative which has featured an upgrade of athletic facilities, several projects are also on the books for years to come. Wilson Field Updates

Alston Parker Watt Field

Alston Parker Watt Field is home to the Generals men's and women's soccer and women's lacrosse teams.

Cap'n Dick Smith Field

Cap'n Dick Smith Field is home to the Washington and Lee baseball team.

A.E. Mathis Wrestling Room

The A.E. Mathis Wrestling Room is located in the Warner Center and is home to the Generals' wrestling team.

Cy Twombly Pool

Cy Twombly Pool is located in the Warner Center and is home to the men's and women's swimming teams.

Dick Miller Cross Country Courses

The W&L cross country programs hosts its events on these challenging courses.

Duchossois Tennis Center

The W&L tennis teams train and compete at this state of-the-art four-court indoor tennis facility.

Lexington Golf and Country Club

W&L's golf team plays its home matches and practice rounds at this beautiful 18-hole course located on the edge of Lexington.

Liberty Hall Fields

The Liberty Hall fields are used as practice facilities for many of W&L's outdoor sports.

Outdoor Tennis Courts

The W&L tennis teams play their outdoor matches on the William Washburn Courts and the Upper Varsity Courts.

Warner Center

The Warner Center houses several sports teams, including the men's and women's basketball teams.

Wilson Field

Wilson Field is the centerpiece of the W&L Athletic Facilities. It serves as home to the football, track and men's lacrosse programs.

W&L Turf Field

This multi-purpose synthetic surface field used by the Department of Athletics and Physical Education for intramurals, club sports, athletic contests, and recreational use.
