Corporate and Foundation Advisors
You network — and so do we as we pursue grants, often with a big assist from alumni and friends as the list below of advisory board members and others shows. When we approach a corporation or a foundation about helping Washington and Lee start or sustain a project or a program, we want to make sure that the idea and the source of funding would be a good match. Just as no college, university, project or program is exactly like any other, each corporation or foundation has a different mission and goals for its philanthropy. Our advisers, formal and informal, generously guide us and sometimes accompany us as we make our case to funders. We encourage others to join the effort to strengthen Washington and Lee and spread the word about promising initiatives.
Those below have assisted Washington and Lee by sharing their time, counsel, and networks. We are grateful and invite others to join them.
