More about:
A Campus for the 21st Century
An education for the 21st Century requires a campus for the 21st Century. Our academic spaces must be designed for changing patterns of student learning. At Washington and Lee, physical spaces must also be designed to preserve the close-knit, interpersonal nature of our campus culture.

Athletic Facilities

Washington and Lee's intercollegiate, physical education, club sports and intramural programs help its students pursue the principle of a strong mind and a sound body. To continue this tradition of excellence, the University has placed a priority on renovating existing facilities and creating new ones that will support its mission. Topping the list of needs are the renovation of Wilson Field and the Doremus Gymnasium and Warner Center complex.

The Colonnade

The Colonnade has been the primary site for teaching and learning at Washington and Lee since 1824. Now the need is great for preserving and restoring these beautiful buildings and equipping them to serve the needs of future students.

The Center for Jewish Life

Recruiting and Supporting Jewish Students at W&L
The Center for Jewish Life is an important priority of W&L, and is central to the University's ability to recruit and support greater numbers of Jewish students.

Other Facilities Projects

The University has other facilities projects currently in the planning stages.
