NAPERVILLE, ILL. - The Washington and Lee women's outdoor track & field team sent three athletes to compete against primarily Division III runners at the Dr. Keeler Invitational hosted by North Central College on Thursday and Friday at the Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium.

Senior Elizabeth Webb (Middleburg, Va./Wakefield) recorded a season-best time of 4:39.84 for a ninth place mark in the 1,500 meters, while senior Jess Shaw (Dallas, Texas/Highland Park) crossed the finish line in 38:28.39 in the 10,000 meters for a fifth place finish. Senior Becca Taylor (Hamilton, Ohio/Edgewood) notched an eighth-place finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 11:23.45.

The Washington and Lee track & field teams return to competition on Wednesday at the Bridgewater Last Chance meet.
