Budget Advisory Committee

The Budget Advisory Committee has five major tasks:

1. Recommending an annual operating budget to the President.
2. Developing and implementing a process for determining the competitiveness and appropriateness of staff and faculty salary levels, and other components of the budget that lend themselves to annual data gathering and benchmarking.
3. Developing and implementing a policy for reviewing non-faculty positions, both renewals and new, and make recommendations regarding such requests to the President.
4. Continually examining existing operations seeking efficiencies and chances to enhance benefit to the University.
5. Continually examining opportunities for enhancing revenue that do not detract from the central mission of the University.

All members are ex officio.
