Washington and Lee University
The Washington and Lee University and Virginia Military Institute Track & Field programs are set to host the W&L-VMI Track & Field Carnival on Fri., March 27 and Sat., Mar. 28 on both campuses.
A total of 700 athletes will compete in the carnival, which will begin on Friday at Washington and Lee's Wilson Field. Competition will begin at 10:00 am with the decathlon and heptathlon events and will proceed into the evening when the distance events will occur under the lights.
Saturday's events will move to VMI where the second day of the decathlon and heptathlon will commence at 8:45 am.
Among the collegiate teams competing in the carnvial are Carnegie Mellon University, DeSales University, Duquesne University, Eastern Mennonite University, Elizabethtown College, Huntington University, Lebanon Valley College, Liberty University, Messiah College, Northwood University, Ohio Wesleyan University, Slippery Rock University, Southern Virginia University, VMI, Virginia Wesleyan and W&L.
