W&L's Berry and Welsh Compete at Duke Twilight
Michael WelshDURHAM, N.C. -- Seniors Vance Berry (Porte Vedra, Fla./Episcopal) and Michael Welsh (Tullahoma, Tenn./Tullahoma) competed in the 5,000 meters against Division I, II and III runners at the Duke Twilight at the Wallace Wade Stadium on Sunday evening.
Berry crossed the finish line in 15:24.22 for an 11th place overall mark, while Welsh recorded a 12th-place mark in a time of 15:30.93.
Washington and Lee returns to action on Thursday and Friday at the Dr. Keeler Invite.
