SALEM, Va. -- The Old Dominion Athletic Conference has announced that its final player of the week for the 2008-09 school year has been awarded to Washington and Lee sophomore attackman Spence Daw (Phoenix, Md./Loyola-Blakefield).

Daw garners the ODAC Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week award for the week ending April 26 after helping lead the Generals to a 1-1 record by totaling four goals and three assists over the two games.

In a 10-7 loss to Lynchburg on Wednesday, he tallied two goals and one assist and picked up five ground balls. He followed that performance with two goals and two assists in a 25-3 win over Guilford. For the season, Daw ranks third on the team with 35 points on 18 goals and 17 assists.

Washington and Lee returns to action on Wednesday as it travels to second-seeded Lynchburg College for the semifinals of the ODAC Tournament. The third-seeded Generals and Hornets will play at 7:00 pm.
