Sean Grant is in his second season as an assistant basketball coach at W&L. His first season resulted in the Generals posting an 11-14 overall record, the program's best record since 1990-91.

Grant came to W&L from Connecticut College where he served as an assistant coach from 2004-06. During his time with the Camels, Grant helped engineer an eight-game improvement from his first season and a berth to the NESCAC Tournament for the first time since 2002. Additionally, he also helped develop the NESCAC Co-Rookie of the Year in 2005 and the Camels ranked among the Division III leaders in field goal percentage and three-point field goal percentage his final season.

Prior to joining Conn College, Grant served as an assistant basketball coach at NYU from 2002-04, helping the Violets to a 21-7 record and a berth in the ECAC Championship game in 2003-04. During this time, Grant was also the head junior varsity coach.

A 2002 NYU graduate with a degree in early childhood and elementary education, Grant was a four-year member of the men's basketball program and a recipient of the school's scholar-athlete award.

At W&L, Grant is responsible for coordinating recruiting, player development and game preparation.
