WILLIAMSBURG, Va. -- The Washington and Lee men's cross country team competed at the Tribe Open hosted by William & Mary in Williamsburg, Va., on Saturday morning.
The Generals were paced by junior Michael Welsh (Tullahoma, Tenn./Tullahoma), who came in 31st out of 138 runners in a time of 26:26, and junior Vance Berry's (Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla./Episcopal) 35th-place finish in a time of 26:37. Senior Tom Brower (Syracuse, N.Y./Christian Brothers Academy) also completed the course in the Top 40, placing 38th in a time of 26:44.
W&L returns to action when they host the ODAC Championship meet on Sat., Oct. 27 at 12:00 pm.
