  The 20th-ranked Washington and Lee women's lacrosse team scored seven unanswered goals over the final 11:37 of the contest en route to posting a 17-10 victory over Christopher Newport on Saturday afternoon in Newport News, Va.
• W&L Women's Lacrosse Falls to Top-Seeded Roanoke, 11-9, in ODAC Championship Game
  Top-seeded Roanoke used a four-goal spurt late in the second half en route to defeating second-seeded Washington and Lee, 11-9, in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference championship game on Sunday at Kerr Stadium.
• W&L Women's Lacrosse Advances to ODAC Finals with a 14-3 Win Over R-MC
  The 16th ranked and second-seeded Washington and Lee women's lacrosse team tallied seven-straight goals in the first half and cruised to a 14-3 victory over third-seeded Randolph-Macon on Saturday afternoon at Kerr Stadium.
• No. 14 W&L Women's Lacrosse Knocks Off Colorado College, 13-9
  The 14th-ranked Washington and Lee women's lacrosse team recovered from a 4-2 halftime deficit and tallied nine consecutive goals in the second half as the Generals defeated Colorado College, 13-9, on Saturday morning in Swarthmore, Pa.

• June 4, 2009: Two Generals Selected To Play In Women's North-South Senior All-Star Game
  The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) has announced the rosters for the 2009 Division III women's North-South Senior All-Star game, which will be held on Sun., June 14 at the United Sports Training Center (USTC) in Downington, Pa.
• May 28, 2009: IWLCA Announces Division III All-America Teams
  The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) recently announced its 2009 Division III All-America teams and Washington and Lee senior midfielder Kelsi Robinson (West Chester, Pa./Westtown) garnered third-team laurels.
• May 21, 2009: Four Generals Named to IWLCA All-Region Teams
  The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) announced its Division III women's lacrosse All-Chesapeake Region teams on Thursday and Washington and Lee had four players recognized.
• May 1, 2009: Six Generals Honored On All-ODAC Women's Lax Teams
  The Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) announced its women's lacrosse all-conference awards on Friday and Washington and Lee had six players receive honors.

  The Old Dominion Athletic Conference announced its Athletes of the Week for the week ending April 19 and Washington and Lee sophomore midfielder Emmy Mathews (Baltimore, Md./Bryn Mawr) grabbed the honor in women's lacrosse.
