The University Scholars program combines broad yet intensive studies in the liberal arts with independent study leading to a thesis. In recent years, University Scholars seminar topics have included Absurdity in Contemporary World Literature; Constitution of Civility; Pilgrimage in Religious Traditions; Economic Themes in Literature and Film; Statistics, Inference and the Normal Curve; and The Atom Bomb.
