Derek Pinkham

Administrative Assistant

Derek Pinkham has worked as an anyalytical chemist at Nabisco Foods Group, the Colgate-Palmolive Company, and Cambridge Major Laboratory in Wisconsin.  He has also worked as an administrative assistant at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music and the New England Conservatory of Music.

Other Interests

Derek enjoys researching, writing about, playing, and listening to jazz music. He has written the yet-to-be-published book Milwaukee Jazz Profiles: Lives and Lessons of Musicians from the Cream City.  His next book project is a jazz listening guide complete with aesthetics that will trace (like a tree) the music and musicians from seminal works by Miles Davis.
