Washington and Lee University
BLACKSBURG, Va. – Washington and Lee sophomore Billy Billington (Nashville, Tenn./Montgomery Bell Academy) and junior Elizabeth Webb (Middleburg, Va./Wakefield) both participated in events at the Virginia Tech Last Chance Track & Field Meet on Saturday morning.
Billington placed fourth overall in the 35-pound weight throw with a toss of 16.64 meters, while Webb finished third overall in the mile with a time of 5:07.
Both Billington and Webb competed against Division I, II and III competition at the meet.
Washington and Lee’s track and field program returns to action on Saturday, March 22 as it competes in the Emory Invitational. Action begins at 8:00 am.
