What Donations Count As A Match?

1. Gifts made to the Lenfest Faculty Support Challenge Endowment. Gifts of any amount made to this endowment provide flexible funds to increase faculty salaries.
2. Gifts endowing a named professorship ($1.5 million minimum.) These gifts provide endowed support to recruit, support and retain outstanding faculty for existing positions.
3. Gifts endowing a named term professorship ($250,000 minimum.) These prestigious awards help keep compensation competitive and honor faculty for their outstanding teaching. Term professorships recognize a different professor every three years.
4. Gifts to support school or departmental faculty endowments ($100,000 minimum.) These gifts support faculty salaries in a donor’s particular area of interest.

The University will accept outright gifts and pledges payable over three years (2007-2010).
