The Albemarle Corporation Honor Scholarship was established to recognize an entering freshman with an exemplary academic and extracurricular record coupled with an interest in chemistry or chemistry-engineering. This is a full tuition award renewable for four years of work at Washington and Lee, provided the recipient maintains a 3.0 grade point average.
Only students intending to pursue a career in chemistry or chemistry-engineering are eligible for this award.
This award also includes the opportunity for paid summer internships with the Albemarle Corporation following sophomore year.
