
FREDERICKSBURG, Va. -- The Washington and Lee men's tennis team advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament with a 5-0 victory over Messiah on Friday morning at the University of Mary Washington.
The win improved W&L to 18-4 overall, while Messiah's season ends with an 8-8 overall record. The Generals will now take on Mary Washington (20-6) in the second round on Saturday at 11:00 am. The host Eagles received a first-round bye.
